Hack 2 Rail – your opportunity to contribute solutions as part of the European Year of Rail!

Shift2Rail in partnership with Siemens Mobility, is organising Hack 2 Rail, a rail dedicated online hackathon organised under the European Year of Rail, taking place on 23-24 October, with the final demo day on 29 October.
We are inviting startups, entrepreneurs, designers and developers from across Europe and different disciplines to participate in developing Europe’s future rail solutions for passengers and freight. The hackathon teams will be able to collaborate with rail experts to create innovative solutions for seamless travel and better stations for passengers, as well as sustainable options and efficient planners for freight.

- Be part of the solutions to some of the biggest rail challenges we face today!
- This is your chance to make a useful contribution to the European Year of Rail, whether as a participant, mentor, or judge!
- The winning team/s will receive a cash prize, be invited to showcase their solution at high-profile European Year of Rail events, and have the possibility of potentially working with Siemens Mobility or other Shift2Rail Members to further develop their winning idea for market deployment.
